The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise by Dan Gemeinhart

5 years. That’s how long it’s been since Coyote Sunrise has been home. That’s how long it’s been since tragedy struck their family. And 4 days is how long they have to get back home. When Coyote hears news from her grandma about a park that’s very special to her is being destroyed, she has to convince her dad to drive them 3,600 miles to their old home in Washington state. Along the way Coyote and her dad meet new people and animals and they make new friends. They say some sad goodbyes but they learn some interesting things about life. I recommend this book to people who like realistic fiction, and are ages 7 and up. I know I’ve probably said this about a million different books but this time I mean it, This is literally top on my favorite books list 5/5 stars all the way.
