The book One Crazy Summer by Rita Williams- Garcia is a heartwarming story of how three girls travel across the country on a mission to bond with their mother. Their mother had previously divorced their father and now lives in California. The mother is disgusted to see that her kids came to find her and doesn’t care for them properly. By the end of the summer, the mother and children grow closer to each other and begin to love one another again. I would recommend this adventurous tale to anyone who is 9 years old and up. This book would definitely reach a 5 out of 5!
